I think I have only missed one single boot Düsseldorf since my debut as a 10 year old boy back in 1975. That was during our sabbatical cruise 2005-6 to the Caribbean and a good excuse, I think. I will be there all week except for the last Sunday.

As in previous years, I plan to be at boot Düsseldorf all week (except the last Sunday).
- The Gotthardt stand will be my base (Booth F21 / in Hall 10), same as in the previous year. This is where it is the easiest to find me, if I’m not at holding talks.
- I will certainly also be found at the sextant manufacturer’s stand Cassens&Plath (D55 / Hall 10) where I will be showing the Reginasailing templates and give my experiences with celestial navigation. On the same stand, you will also find my chronometer supplier WEMPE as well as possibly IMRAY who are considering exhibiting at boot Düsseldorf again after their take-over by Austrian Freytag & Berndt.
- Like before, I will also hold talks at the Refit Center in Hall 11 ( Booth B64 / Hall 11). This year, it will be a new talk about my personal refit experiences with my own boat: “13 years of annual refitting Regina Laska”.
- On the Delius Klasing scene (YACHT), Booth G18 / Hall 10. The talk will be the “Aufbruch Fahrtensegeln” which is similar to the one I held last year. Daily at 14:00
- New for 2026 is that I will again be seen in the Sailing Center in Hall 15, where I will be interviewed about the RYA Yachtmaster scheme; An alternative to German sailing certificates? (Booth G21 / Hall 15).
- The topping of the icing for 2026 is a “Pub Quizz” on the second Saturday, 24 January 2026, at 17:20 in the Refit Center (Booth B64 / Hall 11) that I will host. A lot of Reginasailing suppliers have already agreed to sponsor with some nice prices to be won! The questions I will ask will be simple and hopefully I may ask them not only in German but also in English.

The German leading yachting magazine YACHT will be at the Delius Klasing stand, also in Hall 10, where you will find marine books and listen to some talks.
In addition, there are daily talks in the Refit Center in Hall 11 (stand 11/B54) about 12 years of Refitting Regina Laska.
