Leg 1/2014
1-8 May 2014 Ellös – Stavanger, 330 nm
Starting off from Ellös we will be sailing in the archipelago northbound in the beautiful Bohuslän. As soon as a weather
window opens up, allowing us for a safe and pleasant crossing, we will sail overnight to Farsund at the south tip of Norway, which is a 24 hours sail. During the crossing, you will be experiencing watch-keeping and learn how to interpret lights and traffic as well as getting used to night-navigation, getting a miniature feel for blue-water sailing. From Farsund, we will continue daysailing rounding the cape of Lista and sail along the spectacular westcoast of Norway, planning a stopover in beautiful Kirkehamn. If time permits, and we have done a quick passage to Stavanger, we might even have time to sneak into the famous Lysefjorden close to Stavanger. During the entire week, you will get ample time to learn how to handle a 48-foot boat and test all the modern equipment. The trip ends in the pleasant town of Stanvanger from where there are frequent flights to all major airports in Europe.
Price: 4,300 EUR for 2 guests.
