"I came to Malta on vacation and took the opportunity to be part of the 2025 RYA Yachtmaster Offshore shore-based theory course to brush up my nautical knowledge, to learn more about navigation in general and to share seamanship experiences with sailors from northern seas.

As Leon has warned us, it is an intense course all day long during 6 days, much information, full mind process, assessments, but his approach turns everything easier and pleasant.

During the classes I noticed how carefully Leon had prepared all the material and his presentations in order to make the course more hands-on.

The course opened up my mind for future possibilities, such as sailing through northern waters such as the Baltic and the North Sea or maybe even crossing the Atlantic Ocean from Europe to my home country Brazil one day.

Finally, it was a great opportunity to make new friends and, of course, to be part of Reginasailing family!!
