I recently completed the RYA Yachtmaster Ocean shore-based course with Regina Sailing in Malta, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The course is exceptionally well structured and clearly designed to provide excellent preparation for the Yachtmaster Ocean exam.

From the beautiful sea-view hotel—where we even had the chance to practise celestial navigation with a sextant and the sun—to the clear, logical, and perfectly laid-out coursework, everything was thoughtfully organised and highly effective.

 

Leon is an exceptional instructor and a true role model. He has a natural gift for teaching and strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and a friendly, approachable manner. His extensive knowledge of sailing and celestial navigation, combined with his clear, structured, and engaging teaching style, made the course both enjoyable and highly successful. In every respect, this course is truly in a class of its own.
