After a two-year sailing break, this trip along the beautiful Breton coast—from Brest to Granville—was exactly what I needed (see previous Leg3-2017 here).

Leon put together a truly lovely crew; we got along effortlessly from day one. The atmosphere was relaxed, yet full of learning: from tidal navigation and weather planning to anchoring, mooring buoy practice, and even a treasure hunt.

 

Leon strikes a perfect balance—not only as a calm and knowledgeable skipper and teacher, but also as an excellent host. Somehow, he always made sure we were well-fed and taken care of, without it ever feeling like a big deal.

 

Stunning coastline, great food, and fantastic company. Everything was cooked just right—à point.
