Casting off at boot Düsseldorf (“Aufbruch”)!
I think I have only missed one single boot Düsseldorf since my debut as a 10 year old boy back in 1975. That was during our sabbatical cruise 2005-6 to the Caribbean and a good excuse, I think.
Again, it was great fun to meet old and new friends at the show and also hold some talks.
As in previous years, I stayed at boot Düsseldorf all week (except the last Sunday). I was helping out at the Gotthardt’s stand working for Boatsystem Group on their stand No 10-F21 in Hall 10.
The easiest way to meet was to call me when you are on the show (+356 999 18400) to make up a meeting or just to pass by the Gotthardt-stand (10-F21).

New for boot Düsseldorf is that the German leading yachting magazine YACHT has moved from the sailing boat hall 16, placing all the boating magazines together with marine books under the joint stand of the publisher Delius Klasing in Hall 10. This has become a great stand including a scene, where I held daily talks (except the last Sunday) in German: “Aufbruch: Fahrtensegeln”. The new Delius Klasing stand will be very close to Gotthardt, namely No 10 / G18.
In addition, there were daily talks in the Refit Center in Hall 11 about
– “The Easy Way and Comfort Stay”
This is, as usual, a talk about smart products by Swedish Boatsystem Group.
